The Watchtower teaches that only 144,000 will go to heaven and that all other saved people will remain on the earth.
They (Jehovah’s Witnesses – KS) believe that 144,000 spirit-anointed Christians will share with Christ in his heavenly Kingdom, ruling as kings with him. They do not believe that heaven is the reward for everyone who is ‘good’ (Reasoning. 200).
If the 144,000 of Revelation are literal, they are all virgin, male Jews (Revelation 7:1-4; 14:1-5). Only members of the church have life (1 John 5:11; Ephesians 1:22-23). Their one hope is heaven (Ephesians 4:4; 1 Peter 1:3-5).
